**SOLD** Randall Sub-hilt One Off Image
This one of a kind Randall would be the centerpiece of any collection of Randall Made Knives.
This special sub-hilt fighter was crafted in 1979 for Randall dealer Jack Crider and first offered in Rhett Stidham's famous "Green Catalog" of 1991. The Randall trademark stamp is on the reverse side and parallel to the double nickel silver hilt. Between the main hilt and the sub-hilt is a pinned ivory insert followed by pinned walnut burl slabs on either side of the full tapered tang. Furnished with a rough back Johnson sheath that has Fighter written on back and carries a white bear sharpening stone.

12-6" Leschorn Bowie Image
This "Little Bear" Bowie features a 6" stainless steel blade with a separate "S", Nickel silver squared top single hilt, special fiber spacers, Brazilian Rosewood handle and pinned aluminum butt cap.

The Rosewood handle is completely carved, in deep relief, with Tom's iconic oak leaf and acorn motif. Each side of the handle carries an oval ivory disk inlaid and relief carved with a figures of a Bighorn Sheep on the front and a leaping deer on the reverse. The oak leaf and acorn motif is carried to the engraving on the hilt and butt cap.

Randall GTR with Leschorn Engraving

Randall GTR with Leschorn Engraving Image
Randall GTR with Leschorn Engraving This is an early example of Gary Randall's non-cataloged dealer special. This "GTR" features a stainless blade, thumb notches and a single finger grip handle crafted from old growth Brazilian Rosewood. The hilt is .999 pure silver and was engraved and signed by the legendary Tom Leschorn who passed away in 1992. Tom Leschorn's engraving is iconic in the Randall community. It is easily recognizable due in part to Tom's strong execution and deep relief. Because of this Tom referred to his later work as "carving" rather than engraving. Today Tom's work is much sought after but rarely offered for sale as the majority of his art resides in private collections.
