Leschorn-Bowles Model 25
$8250.00
Leschorn-Bowles Model 25 Image
This is a very early (1989) Model #25 on which Tom Leschorn engraved his iconic oak leaves and acorns and I scrimshawed the white-tailed deer scene #353. Tom cast the solid silver deer head from one of Tom Leschorn's carvings and affixed it to the butt of the knife. Tom and I collaborated on only 8 to 10 pieces before his untimely passing in 1992.
Bowles LTD

Bowles LTD Image
During a forging run of my Bowles Skinner, a group of my Skinner blades, which have always carried the small Randall trademark stamp, were inadvertently stamped with the large Randall trademark stamp. A total of forty-five blades were stamped with this large trademark stamp before the mistake was discovered. I received authorization to release these unique, mis-stamped knives in their own numbered limited edition. Like a mis-stamped coin, these are the only examples of my Randall dealer specials to carry the large trademark stamp. Since there are an odd number of these rare "mistakes", I chose to have the last one etched "Bowles LTD. The Last One".

The hardware was artfully engraved by master engraver Jere Davidson. The custom Sullivan's sheath features a lion hide overlay with a rare tiger's claw attached.
12-9" Scrimshaw
$5150.00
12-9" Scrimshaw Image
This is a Model #12-9" with a #14 grind in stainless. When this model was introduced it was Randall's largest blade available in stainless steel. For the first few years these were only available in stainless steel if the knife was ordered to be scrimshawed. This knife is one of the first and features center cut Elephant ivory, brass double lugged hilt, smooth brass collar and brass butt cap. I scrimshawed the Indian warrior in 1995 and assigned it number #696 in my exclusive edition for Randall Made Knives.

Randall GTR with Leschorn Engraving
$2250
Randall GTR with Leschorn Engraving Image
Randall GTR with Leschorn Engraving This is an early example of Gary Randall's non-cataloged dealer special. This "GTR" features a stainless blade, thumb notches and a single finger grip handle crafted from old growth Brazilian Rosewood. The hilt is .999 pure silver and was engraved and signed by the legendary Tom Leschorn who passed away in 1992. Tom Leschorn's engraving is iconic in the Randall community. It is easily recognizable due in part to Tom's strong execution and deep relief. Because of this Tom referred to his later work as "carving" rather than engraving. Today Tom's work is much sought after but rarely offered for sale as the majority of his art resides in private collections.

Randall Shaw-Leibowitz #70/300
$1550.00
Randall Shaw-Leibowitz #70/300 Image
This special forging represents Randall Made Knives very first limited edition. A collaboration in 1978 between Randall knives and artists Sherrill Shaw and Leonard Leibowitz was to produce 300 knives with an acid etched scene commemorating the Lewis & Clark expedition 1803. Ultimately only 125 of the blades were etched with Lewis and Clark and serial numbered. Some of them carried scenes plated with gold and copper, the remaining blades, like #70/300 offered here, were traditionally etched.
12-6" Leschorn Bowie
$6500.00
12-6" Leschorn Bowie Image
This "Little Bear" Bowie features a 6" stainless steel blade with a separate "S", Nickel silver squared top single hilt, special fiber spacers, Brazilian Rosewood handle and pinned aluminum butt cap.
This is a very early example of a "blade only" build by the legionary Tom Leschorn. Tom was the only person who could get a finished blade from the Randall shop. The pinned butt cap is one of Tom's trademarks.
The Rosewood handle is completely carved, in deep relief, with Tom's iconic oak leaf and acorn motif. Each side of the handle carries an oval ivory disk inlaid and relief carved with a figures of a Bighorn Sheep on the front and a leaping deer on the reverse. The oak leaf and acorn motif is carried to the engraving on the hilt and butt cap.
